Javier is The Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Novo Behavioral Services. He is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst and Registered Psychological Associate with over 18 years of experience treating individuals with special needs in various settings, including the clinic, school, home, and community-based settings. In addition, he has expertise in implementing Pivotal Response Treatment using a competency-based fidelity model and treating severe challenging behavior.
Javier has earned his Bachelor of Psychology from California State Fullerton, a Master of Science in psychology with an emphasis in Child and Adolescent Development from Southern New Hampshire University, and his BCBA coursework at the Florida Institute of Technology. He is a Doctoral Candidate in Psychology at CalSouthern University. He resides in Los Angeles, Ca, with his wife, son, daughter, and two dogs.
